International Trade Center – Tenant Improvements at the Ronald Reagan Building & International Trade Center

Washington, D.C.
Owner: General Services Administration
Architect: Ellerbe Becket
Engineer: Ellerbe Becket
Contract Value: $2.6 Million

This project was a full tenant buildout for a state-of-the-art conference center, ballroom, showroom areas and full kitchen and pantries with support areas spread over six floors.  All mechanical systems, including HVAC piping, plumbing, ductwork, insulation, and controls were installed in this fully functioning occupied building, without interruption of services to the main building.

This project had a mandated construction period of six months.  This short duration required extremely close coordination between the general contractor, engineer, architect, and building trades to finish each section of the project on schedule.
